Ervin Drue Cheney - Patriarchal Blessing
Dear Children,
I read this last night when Emily had
me get a picture of Grandpa Cheney to send to Nicole for the Cheney
family history blog. I wanted to share it with all of you. The
Patriarch who gave the blessing was Nephi L. Smith. His father was Lot
Smith. Lot Smith and Nephi Smith's lives spanned the history of the
church. Lot was converted at the time the gospel was first restored.
Nephi L. Smith was instrumental in getting Dad back into the church. I
add my testimony that all of the Prophets of God in these latter days
were special men and if we heed their counsel we will be blessed. My
father lived the admonitions in his Patriarchal Blessing and was greatly
blessed. I encourage you to do the same and you will be blessed in
your lives. I love you all and pray that you will all be blessed in
your righteous endeavors.

23 Months
I don't have any pictures right now but I just want to document what Blake has been up to lately before I forget.
Learned from Mater (best backwards driver ever) how to walk backwards
When we go on our walks I let him out when we get to the trail and he runs the entire time and every once in awhile he will want me to hold his hand for 2 seconds I think to rest and then he is off again.
He now can say prayers by repeating what we say. It is so cute!
He understands that if he gives me a kiss and says please he gets what he wants most of the time.
He is starting to put words together. Instead of saying Juice he now says orange juice. The other day he said "Mom, lets go!"
He loves to rinse the dishes, no we don't have a dishwasher (I guess that why we have kids right:)
He will finally watch movies other than "Cars" He likes "Toy Story", "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas," and "The Santa Clause"
He loves choo choo trains because of his Grandma McBride's Trainville game. Now I have Trainville so he can see the choo's choo's at home too!
Whenever I take out my violin to play he wants to play it. He is actually pretty coordinated.
I love my little Blake he is growing up soooo fast!
